Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to book an appointment?
Yes, please call or email the clinic to arrange an appointment.

What should I expect at my first visit?
Your first visit will incorporate an assessment of your condition. This will include taking a detailed history of your present condition and your medical status, followed by a methodical and thorough clinical examination. Based upon your clinical diagnosis, it will then be possible to discuss and establish a treatment plan. This plan will be reviewed on any follow up visits and amended and progressed as appropriate, in order to achieve optimal rehabilitation from your condition/injury.

How long is each session?
Please allow up to 1 hour for your initial visit and then 30-45 minutes for any follow up sessions.

How often will I require treatment?
This varies and depends upon the presenting condition and diagnosis. As a rule, the more recent the injury or condition, the more rapidly it generally responds to treatment.

What should I wear?
Please bring/wear a loose fitting top for neck/shoulder/upper back conditions. Please bring shorts for all lower back/hip/leg conditions.

How do I pay for my sessions?
We accept payment by either cheque or cash. Unfortunately we do not accept credit/debit cards. If you wish to claim your treatment fee from your health insurance company, please ensure that you are covered to receive treatment from Redditch Physiotherapy before your initial appointment. Please remember to bring your health insurance authorisation code or policy number to your first visit.

Where can I park?
We have ample, free, secure private parking only a few feet from the clinic door.

Please feel free to contact us for answers to any other questions you may wish to ask.
